The story of a 300 year old stone house, uninhabited for 50 years.

Casa Catalana is in the hills above the Costa Brava in North East Spain and was once a Rectory for the church next door.

Hugo discovered the house on a trip to Catalunya from his London home and after moving to Spain with his partner Laura he started a long renovation project.

​

Since October 2024 Hugo has been sharing the renovation work on the Casa Catalana YouTube channel.

For a lot of the work Hugo has been alone, but for some of the bigger structural work a team of local builders have taken the lead.
